የ1447ኛው የኢድ አልፈጥር በዓልን ለማክበር በደሴ ከተማና በአካባቢው የሚገኘው ሙስሊም ማህበረሰብ ለበዓል የሚያስፈልጉ ግብዓቶችን በመሸመት ላይ ይገኛል። ይሁን እንጂ በገበያው ላይ የታየው ከፍተኛ የዋጋ ጭማሪ በሸማቾች ዘንድ ቅሬታን ፈጥሯል። በከተማዋ በተለይም በእርድ እንስሳትና በአልባሳት ላይ የታየው ዋጋ እጅግ ከፍተኛ መሆኑ ተገልጿል።

አማርኛ በ1963 ዓም የአፍሪካ ህብረት ማቋቋሚያ ቻርተር ከተፈረመባቸው ቋንቋዎች አንዱ መሆኑን የተናገሩት ፕሮፌሰር ባዬ “ ቋንቋውን ዛሬም ድረስ የህብረቱ የሥራ መገልገያ እንዲሆን ማድረግ ካልተቻለባቸው ከውስጣዊ ምክንያቶቹ ኢትዮጵያ ከህብረቱ ምሥረታ ማግሥት ጀምሮ በአብዮት እና ባልተረጋጋ ፖለቲካዊ ሁኔታ መጠመዷ ነው ብለዋል ፡፡

ቅድሚያ ለሰብአዊ መብቶች ኢትዮጵያ የተባለው ሀገር በቀል የሲቪክ ድርጅት ትናንት ባወጣው መግለጫ፣ በትግራይ ክልል "የሰብአዊ መብት ይዞታ እያሽቆለቆለ መምጣቱን" ገልጿል። ድርጅቱ እንዳለው በክልሉ አሳሳቢ ያለው "አስገድዶ መሰወር እና የዘፈቀደ እሥራት" እየጨመረ መጥቷል።

ከቅርብ ዓመታት ወዲህ በተለይም በዚህ ዓመት የብዙ ታላላቅ አገራት መሪዎች እና ዲፕሎማቶች መዳረሻ የሆነችው ኢትዮጵያ በበርካቶች ዘንድ በቀጣናው የዲፕሎማሲ ማዕከልነቷን እያሳየች ነው አስብሏል፡፡ ይሁንና ሌሎች አስተያየት ሰጪዎች አገሪቷ ባሏት የውስጥ የፀጥታ ችግሮች የተነሳ በዲፕሎማሲው ረገድ እሩቅ መሄድ አዳጋች ይሆንባታል ይላሉ፡፡

በአሶሳ ከመጋቢት ወር መጀመሪያ አንስቶ የነዳጅ እጥረት ተከስቷል፡፡ በተለይም ቤንዚን ከነዳጅ ማደያዎች ማግኘት እንዳልተቻለ አሽከርካሪዎችና ባለንብቶች ይናገራሉ፡፡ በጥቁር ገበያ ከአንድ ሺ ብር እስከ አንድ ሺ 2 መቶ ብር በሊትር እየገዙ እንደሚገኙ ያነጋርናቸው ነዋሪዎች አመልክተዋል፡፡
